Duolin Rotacap (Levosalbutamol, Ipratropium)

Duolin Rotacap is made by Cipla Ltd. whose main ingredients are Levosalbutamol and Ipratropium. These two salts are present in different amount as Levosalbutamol contributes 100mcg and Ipratropium contributes 40mcg. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator and Ipratropium is a anticholinergic which is used in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. These both help in relaxing the muscles of airways and widens the passage which makes breathing easier.

Rotacaps are usually placed in the device called rotahaler and it is been crushed with the help of mouthpiece. Once we hear that click sound than we have to breath in deeply through the mouthpiece and hold our breath for 10 seconds. Once you are done with the process rinse your mouth thoroughly.
