Xalacom Eye Drop(Latonoprost, Timolol)  

Xalacom Eye Drop contains Latonoprost (0.005%) and Timolol(0.5%) by volume and used to treat open angle glaucoma. Latonorpost can be categorized under group of medicines known as prostaglandin analogues. Functionally it works to increase the natural outflow of liquid from the eye into the bloodstream. Whereas Timolol belongs to the group of medicines known as beta-blockers. It lowers the production of fluid in the eye.

Don’t mix up this medicine with the other eye drop, if you are doing so then wait for some time and then apply. If you are allergic to some medicines then it may cause itching or rashes so check once before.

Some side effects are dangerous but it depends upon your body how it responds to the medication. Some common side effects caused are eye pain, Photophobia, eye itching, eyelashes changes, conjunctival hyperemia.
