Epicure 50 mg a product by Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd. consist of epirubicin as a main ingredient. It is an anti-cancer medicine which used in the treatment of breast cancer. Epicure 50mg works by suppressing the action of an enzyme(topoisomerase II) which is involved in the DNA Multiplication of breast cancer cells. This also forms harmful chemical which damages the DNA and thus stops the further growth of breast cancer cells and eventually kills them.

Some common side effects suffered by the patients are rash, vomiting, conjunctivitis, nausea, mouth sore. Some preventions need to be followed after the administration of this drug.
