Brimotas T Eye drop(Timolol(5), Brimonidine(2))
Brimotas T eye drop is made by Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd. with the combination of two salts Brimonidine and timolol. These two salts equally contribute in the treatment of ocular hypertension and glaucoma. Timolol is a beta blocker while Bromonidine is a sympathomimetic and work by decreasing the production of aqueous humor. By decreasing the aqueous humor it lowers the increased eye pressure.
This medicine is just for internal use and is advised to take as prescribed by your doctor. Before using this please check the label as to ensure about validity and learn to know about its use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it and squeeze dropper gently into lower eyelid. Wipe off extra fluid with tissue and close the eyelid for 10 seconds. .
Some side effects caused by this
drop are eye pain, Photophobia, itching, burning sensation, Stinging in the
eyes, increased iris pigmentation, eyelash changes, Conjuctival hyperemia etc.
