Ricovir EM 200/300 mg(Emtricitabine + Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate)  

Ricovir EM is a tab made by Mylan  Pharmaceuticals Ltd. whose main ingredients are Emtricitabine and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate. While making Tofocom Emtricitabine is present in the amount of 200mg and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate is present in the amount of 300 mg. Functionally it works by preventing the multiplication of viruses and reducing the amount of viruses in the body. Also its main function is to increase the number of CD4 cells in the body which helps to fight with viruses.

It is an anti HIV medicine but causes some side effects if dosages are taken improperly or not on time. Some side effects which are usually seen are diarrhea, Nausea, vomiting and dizziness.
