Seroflo 50 Inhaler(Fluticasone Propionate, Salmeterol)
Seroflo is an inhaler made by Cipla and is used in the
treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It consists of
two salts in different sizes as Fluticasone propionate contributes 25mcg and
Salmeterol contributes to 50mcg. Salmeterol is a long acting bronchodilator
which works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens it. Fluticasone
Propionate is a steroid whose function is to stop the release of certain
chemical messenger that cause inflammation of airways. These actions taken by
these two drugs makes patient breathe easier.

Shake the inhaler and press once in your mouth and hold your breath for 10 sec.
Repeat the process if more number of puffs are suggested by your doctor. Once
the process is done rinse your mouth thoroughly.
Well, use this device carefully as it may cause some severe
side effects if not used properly. Some side effects caused by this drug are
Nausea, Vomiting, Respiratory tract infection, sore throat, increased heart
rate. Seroflo is unsafe to use during pregnancy as it shows some adverse
effects still you need to confirm with you doctor.
