Tenoclor 100mg Tab(Atenolol, Chlorthalidone) 

Tenoclor 100mg is made by abbott and is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. It contains two salts namely atenolol 100mg by volume and chlorthalidone 25mg by volume. Atenolol is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and make heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Chlorthalidone acts as a diuretic which helps in lowering blood pressure by removing extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Further it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.

This medicine is for external use and dosages should be adjusted by your doctor. Important thing about this is that it should be consumed with food and time interval should be maintained. This medicine is usually preferred to take in the morning or 4 hours before you bed time as to avoid urination during night.
