Thycad 50 mg a product by Cadila Pharmaceuticals is used in the treatment of multiple myeloma lepra reaction as the key ingredient is Thalidomide. Multiple myeloma is a type of blood cancer and lepra reaction is a skin disease. Thycad increases the activity of body’s immune system and helps attacking the cancer cells indirectly. Further it helps in controlling the growth of blood vessels in cancer cells. Do not crush or chew this tablet just swallow it completely and most important is that you should take this on empty stomach.

Do not exceed the prescribed amount as it may cause some serious abnormal effects. Side effects associated with this drug are chest pain, dizziness, nausea, anxiety, cough, muscle weakness etc.
