B-Stil 8mg tab (Betahistine) 

B-Stil 8mg is made by abbott and is used in the treatment of vertigo and Meniere’s disease. Its main ingredient is Betahistine and is used to reduce the episodes of vertigo associated with Meniere’s disease. It acts as a hitamine analog and works by improving the blood flow in the inner ear which reduces the excess pressure of fluid. This excess flowing fluid can send signals to the brain that causes nausea, dizziness, or spinning sensations. Additionally it helps in dampening the nerve signal sent from the inner ear to the brain.

This drug is advised to be taken with food as it causes mild stomach problem if taken on empty stomach. Dosages and duration should be explained by your doctor. Do not crush or break this tab else it may not show its effect instead take it as a whole.

Some side effects caused by this drug are headache, nausea, dyspepsia.
