Cytodrox 500 mg Tab(Hydroxyurea) 

Cytodrox is manufactured by Cipla which consists of Hydroxyurea as a main ingredient. This is used in the treatment of head, neck cancer and sickle cell anemia. It works by blocking an enzyme called Ribonucleotide reductase(RBCs)  which is required for synthesis of DNA. This situation helps in stopping the growth and multiplication of cancer cells. RBCs attaina normal shape and improves the blood flow and protect against complications like painful sickle cell episodes.

Take the duration of this drug as per the prescription. Never go for overdose if you miss any dose instead skip that and wait for the next dosage time. Side effects caused by this drug is low blood platelets, vomiting, nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea and stomach upset. So special care should be taken in order to prevent these effects.
