Rinavo 100mg a tab made by Mylan consists of Ritonavir as a main ingredient. Functionally it works by interfering with an enzyme called protease which is the requirement of HIV infected cells to make new viruses. This stops the production of new viruses by giving raise to the new fresh cells to develop. Due to this action Virus affected cells don't produce instead fresh cells take place.

Rinavo is usually available with the combination of Lopinavir as a fixed dose as it improves the activity against HIV. This combination helps in preventing breaking down of protein and thus prevents HIV from multiplying inside the body.
