Valembic H 160 Tab (Valsartan, Hydrochlorothiazide) 

Valembic H 160 Tab is made by Alembic Pharma and is used to treat high blood pressure. It consists of Valsartan 80mg by volume and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg by volume. Valsartan is an angiotensin which helps in relaxing the blood vessels. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. These both help in relaxing blood vessels and improves blood flow which lowers the blood pressure effectively.

This tab should be taken as advised by your doctor. Do not exceed the dosages without any intimation else it may result in some changes in your health conditions. Swallow it as a whole instead of crushing or breaking it. This drug can be taken with or without food but it is important to be taken at a fixed time.

Some side effects caused by this drug are nausea, taste change, diarrhea, Headache, fatigue, increased blood flow, electrolyte imbalance.
